Baker Bros Reports a $30 Million MDGL Buy

The most significant transaction on today’s list comes in a Form 4 filing by Baker Bros Advisors LP.

The hedge fund reported a purchase of $30 million in Madrigal Pharmaceuticals Inc $MDGL.

Cormorant Asset Management filed a 13G for EyePoint Pharmaceuticals $EGYPT revealing an initial stake of 12.36%.

In another Form 4, director James A. Star revealed a purchase of $300,992 in Chewy Inc $CHWY.

Over in Washington Rep. James French Hill of Arkansas filed a Periodic Transaction Report declaring the purchase of four stocks:

  • 3M Company $MMM ($15,000 – $50,000);
  • Fidelity National Information Services Inc $FIS ($15,000 – $50,000);
  • Markel Corporation $MKL ($50,000 – $100,000); and
  • Visa Inc $V ($50,000 – $100,000).

There was no significant options flow to report.
