Buffett's Berkshire Is Buying SIRI Shares

Guess who’s back on today's list? None other than Uncle Warren himself!

Warren Buffett just dropped a significant $86.7 million on Sirius XM Holdings Inc $SIRI.

Buffett's Berkshire Hathaway has been a shareholder of SIRI since 2016.

The firm owns 108,719,088 shares, representing a 32% interest and market value of $2.8 billion.

SIRI is up over 3.50% pre-market on this news. We always watch Berkshire’s activity closely, as its filings tend to be market-moving events.

Here’s The Hot Corner, with data from October 11, 2024:

Davidson Kempner Capital Management filed a 13G for Dorchester Minerals $DMLP revealing an initial stake of 7.50%.

In another Form 4, Bath & Body Works' CEO Gina Boswell, revealed a purchase of $177,852.

As for SIRI, the stock has been in a prolonged downtrend for the past few years. It was trading at fresh 12-year lows just last week.

If and when we get a valid trend reversal, we will happily follow Warren Buffett into this trade.

But there is still much work to be done on that front.

Stay tuned. We'll be back on Tuesday with more insider activity.
