Typically in October we get a rally, then pull back some, then trend higher.

We'll see if the pattern repeats this year, as headwinds are gathering out there.

Here are today’s trades:

  • I shorted $LULU on October 16 at 406 and 411,  shorted more on October 17 at 418, and covered today at 410.

  • I bought $BA at 188.51 and at 187.60 on a pull in and sold all at 189.60.

  • I bought $NVDA at 424 and sold at 425.

  • I shorted $SNOW at 157 and covered at 156.50.

I also called out $CAT for a bounce trade.

I booked one loser:

  • I bought $SHOP at 55.43 and sold at 54.50.

I have open long positions in $VXX, $MS, $GS, and $MRNA.

I have open short positions in $QQQ and $KLAC.
