Highs Keep Coming — And That’s Bullish🐂

Today's number is... 6

That’s how many consecutive sessions the S&P 500 has closed at a new all-time high.

Here’s the chart:

Let's break down what the chart shows:

  • The top panel shows the S&P 500 price in black, with gray vertical lines marking each all-time high since 1950.
  • The bottom panel plots the number of consecutive all-time highs as black bars.

The Takeaway: New highs don’t happen randomly — they cluster.

This is the 6th straight all-time high for the S&P 500 — one of the longest streaks since 2021.

That’s normal behavior in strong bull markets.

These streaks tend to show up in bunches — during steady uptrends when volatility is low, breadth is expanding, and sellers are on the sidelines.

That’s exactly what we saw in the 1950s, 1980s, 1990s, and again in the 2010s.

Clusters like this reflect structure — not noise.

They tell us the market isn’t just making new highs — it’s doing it with consistency.

And there’s more fuel in the tank.

The S&P 500 averages about 20 all-time highs per year. 2025 just logged its 15th. With seasonally strong months like November and December still ahead — and participation broadening — this setup looks healthy, not overdone.

This isn’t hesitation — it’s conviction.

Buyers are staying aggressive. Price keeps rewarding them.

That’s not a warning sign. That’s a trend doing its job.

So the real question is: Are you riding it — or fading it?

Let me know!
